Beo Stories, founded by husband and wife team, Chef Leo Chan and Be Wong, brings you a personalised experience of wonderfully unique cakes freshly created to your specification.

 

Inspiration

With ten years of experience in hotels and restaurants in Hong Kong, Chef Leo then graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2015 and has since worked at Gordon Ramsey Group, Fortnum and Mason and Clarette ( Sou Chef).

One year, Chef Leo decided against the traditional sponge cake for his wife’s birthday and opted instead to use his expertise and experience to create something unique and special for her. Taking his inspiration from the 14th century French dessert, entremets, Chef Leo then modernised it with a fusion of Asian and European flavours within the layers.


Developing flavours and combinations further, we now proudly offer a range of high-end flavours and styles of cake up to five layers to suit your needs and make your celebrations even more special.

Glaze / Spray Cake

The glaze cake, also knows as a mirror cake, contains various layers such as sponge, mousse and jelly on a crispy base of biscuit or feuilletine, enveloped in a shiny glaze for a picture-perfect finish.
If you prefer something different, why not try our spray finish or even opt for a mix of the two.

Small Cake To Share

We also offer a smaller version of our glaze cakes for your more intimate celebrations. A smaller cake with up to four layers is perfect to indulge in with your loved one or a few close friends. This is also available as a spray finish.
