Terms of Sale

All cakes sold by the Company are governed by the following Terms of Sale. By placing your cake order, you represent to have read and agreed to all the terms and conditions specified hereunder:


1. Ordering your cake from the Website

To order your cake online, please visit our online shop at www.beostories.com and select one or more cake of your choice. If you wish to create your own cake, you can easily do so by selecting from our range of mix and match options. Once you are ready to place your order, add your cake to your shopping basket and proceed to the checkout page. Please note that you will be required to provide some personal information at the time you place your order including your full name, your contact number, your billing address, your delivery address and your payment details. You agree to provide us with true, accurate, and current personal information.


You can view the full purchase price of your order, including applicable taxes and delivery fees before you make the payment and checkout. Please carefully review your order before submitting it to ensure that you have ordered the correct Product and provided the correct delivery address.


Upon receipt of your order, we will send you an acknowledgement email. Your order is deemed to be in the nature of an offer to purchase the Product, and our acknowledgement email does not constitute an acceptance of your order. When we accept your offer, we will send you a confirmation email. Your order request is only deemed accepted by us after you receive a confirmation email from us. When your order is dispatched, we will send an email to notify you that your order is on its way.

By submitting your order, you agree to pay the full purchase price of your order (including any taxes and delivery fees). The Company does not have any legal or moral obligation to accept any orders, and we may decline to accept an order at our sole

discretion.


All your personal data will be collected and processed by the Company in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please contact us via email at

2. Ordering your cake by telephone

You can also order your cake for delivery by calling us on 07885916926. Please note that it is solely your responsibility to carefully read and understand these terms of sale before placing your order by phone. When you order a cake by telephone, you represent to the Company that you have read and understood these Terms of Sale and agree to be bound by them.

Before confirming your order, we will inform you of the full purchase price payable for your order based on your selected cake, quantity, and delivery location. If you are happy to proceed and place your order, you will be required to provide us with all requested personal information including your full name, your contact number, your email address, your billing address, your delivery address and your credit or debit card details to enable us to process the payment for your order. To prevent credit card fraud, we may be required to disclose some of your personal information. We take PCI compliance seriously and take all necessary steps to protect your payment card data. You agree to provide us with true, accurate, and current personal information only. All your personal data will be collected and processed by the Company in accordance with our Privacy

Policy.


We will not process your order until full payment for your order is approved and we will send you a confirmation email after we accept your order. We will send you a dispatch email or text message when your order is dispatched from our bakery.

3. Pricing and Payments

All product prices on our Website are quoted in GBP. Before you confirm your order, you will be shown the full price payable for your order, including all applicable taxes and delivery fees. If you are ordering by phone, we will inform you of the total amount payable by you for your order. Please note that you will be required to make the full payment at the time you place your order. If ordering by phone, you will be required to provide us with your credit or debit card details including the name on the card, the credit/debit card number, expiration date and CVV (the three-digit code as appears on the back of your payment card).


Customers understand and accept that all payments are subject to authorization by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorize the payment, we will not be able to process your order, and you will be notified of the issue. We are unable to resolve any issues with your card issuer, and we advise you to contact them directly.

Please note that payment for your order does not constitute an order confirmation. Your order is only confirmed after you receive a confirmation email or text message from the Company. If your order is declined after your payment was processed, we will issue you a full refund.


Although we take all reasonable care to ensure the product prices as listed on our Website are correct, we cannot offer any guarantees as to the accuracy of this information. If any product prices published on our Website is found to be incorrect at the time you placed your order, we will contact you to rectify any pricing and payment discrepancy. If we overcharged you for a product, we would issue you a refund equal to the amount you were overcharged. However, if the product price was more than what was displayed on our Website at the time you placed your order, we will offer you an opportunity to place your order at the correct price or cancel your order and receive a full refund.


We may in our sole discretion and without giving any prior notice to you change our product prices. Excluding any instances of errors in pricing, our change of product prices will not impact any confirmed orders.


4. Delivery Policy

Please note that we currently only deliver to postcodes specified on our Website. Once you select your postcode on our Website, you will be able to view the delivery fees applicable for your delivery address before confirming your order. If you are ordering by phone, we will inform you of the applicable delivery fees before processing your request. You will be required to provide us with your preferred delivery time when you place your order. You understand and accept that although we make our best effort to deliver at agreed delivery times, all delivery times are estimates only and delays can occur for reasons beyond our control. In the event our courier is unable to deliver the order to you at the agreed time, we will try to contact you to inform you of the delay and provide a new estimated delivery time. If you are unable to accept the delivery yourself on the specified delivery date and time, you should inform us at the time you place your order. If you wish to instruct our courier of an alternative delivery arrangement such as leaving the parcel at a safe spot or with a neighbour, you should do so at the time you place your order.


BOUNCED DELIVERIES

In the absence of an alternative delivery arrangement, if our courier is unable to reach you at the delivery address or contact details provided by you at the time of delivery, the parcel will be sent back to our bakery, and we will contact you. We will arrange with you either a pick up of your order from our bakery or schedule redelivery for you. Please note that all redeliveries will be subject to redelivery fee which will be borne by the Customer. Customer will be required to pay the full redelivery fee before we redeliver the order.


PLEASE NOTE THAT NEITHER THE COMPANY NOR OUR COURIER WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, THEFT OR DAMAGE TO ANY UNSECURE DELIVERY ADDRESS OR WHERE THE COURIER WAS ADVISED TO LEAVE THE PACKAGE WITH THE NEIGHBOUR OR AT A SAFE SPOT.

5. Changes to your Order

If you would like to request any changes to your order, please immediately contact us at 07885916926. We will make our best effort to make any requested changes to your order. Please note that as all our cakes are handmade, there are limitations on changes we can make after the cake has been baked. We will not be able to make any changes to your order after your order has been dispatched from our bakery for delivery.


6. Cancellations, Returns, and Refund Requests

a. Cancellations by Customer

You may cancel your order at any time within 24 hours from the time you place your order and receive a full refund. To cancel your order, please send us an email at info@beostories.com or call us at 07885916926. You will be required to provide us with your full name and your order number at the time you make your cancellation request. In the event of any incorrect order being delivered, we will issue you a full refund or redeliver the correct order to you. Please note that we may request you to return the incorrect order before we issue a refund or redeliver the correct product to you. All refunds will be issued in accordance with our refund policy.

Please note that an incorrect order does not refer to any minor variations in the colour, design, shape, and size of cakes which can be reasonably expected with handmade cakes. We make our best effort to ensure that all product descriptions,

images, colours, and weight are an accurate depiction of the product; however, we are unable to offer you any guarantees. By placing your order, you accept that the cake you receive will not be identical to the one you see on our Website.

Please note that you will not be able to cancel your order in the following circumstances:

  • If you have ordered a cake for delivery within 24 hours from the time of your order; and/or
  • If the order you received was damaged in transit or after you accepted the delivery; and/or
  • If the ordered product varies slightly from the images on our Website.


Please note that we are unable to accept any order cancellation requests after 24 hours and we will not be able to issue you a refund in such circumstances unless an incorrect order was delivered to you.


b. Cancellation by Company

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order, we will immediately contact you and issue you a full refund in accordance with our refund policy.


c. Returns

With the exception of incorrect deliveries, we do not accept returns. If you believe that there is a problem with your order at the time of delivery, please contact us immediately, and we will assess your request. If the Company is at fault, we will do our best to rectify the situation.


d. Refunds

Where your refund request is approved, it will be processed within three weeks from the date we send you a confirmation email and a credit will automatically be applied to the payment card that you used at the time you placed your order. Please note that refunds should reach your account within three weeks from the date of refund confirmation. If the three week period has elapsed and the funds are not appearing in your account, please contact us at info@beostories.com with the word “Refund” in the subject line.


7. Allergen Disclaimer

WE ARE NOT AN ALLERGEN-FREE BAKERY.


OUR CAKES ARE PREPARED IN A BAKERY THAT PROCESSES MILK, DAIRY, GLUTEN, SOYA, SOYABEAN, PEANUTS, TREE NUTS, EGGS, LUPIN, SESAME SEEDS, CELERY AND OTHER INGREDIENTS THAT CAN TRIGGER ALLERGIC REACTIONS IN PEOPLE WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO THOSE INGREDIENTS. OUR PRODUCTS MAY ALSO CONTAIN FOOD COLOURS THAT MAY HAVE SOME SIDE EFFECTS OR UNDESIRABLE REACTIONS IN ADULTS AND CHILDREN.


ALTHOUGH WE WELCOME OUR CUSTOMERS SPECIAL REQUESTS AND WILL BE HAPPY TO EXCLUDE ANY SPECIFIC INGREDIENTS (PROVIDED THE RECIPE ALLOWS SUCH VARIATION) TO PREPARE YOUR ORDER, WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER YOU ANY GUARANTEES OF NON-CONTAMINATION. YOU UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THAT ALLERGENS MAY BE PRESENT IN OUR BAKERY AND CROSS-CONTAMINATION IS POSSIBLE.

YOUR DECISION TO ORDER ANY PRODUCT FROM THE COMPANY IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Variation in design

Although we make our best effort to replicate the original design and description of our cakes as displayed on our Website, you understand and accept that each cake is handmade by us so there may be minor differences between the cake that you receive from the one you see on our Website.
